- tibbydudeza 5y agoScience.
- shadilay 5y agoScience is a (flawed) process, not a source of truth. Glass houses and all.
- tibbydudeza 5y agoFlawed but there is peer review and curation involved.
- shadilay 5y agoThere are peer review rings and curation is a matter of who you know not what you wrote.
- andyxor 5y ago"Science"? how is it different from saying "Church" I really think we are going back to the middle ages, with inquisition tribunals condemning heretics for blasphemous opinions.
- smt88 5y agoIf you don't know the difference between "science" (a process and unorganized community of millions of people) and "Church" (an authoritarian theocratic institution with a single leader and a pre-defined ideology) then there's no point in arguing with you. Assuming good faith and not trolling, HN still can't be a substitute for basic education on a topic.
- smt88 5y agoAbsolutely a problem for some things, but not for others. Taylor Greene was tweeting things that are demonstrably, observably false.
