Well, I would say, having to urinate more frequently is a part of getting old (it seems like mainly in men), but I think the 4pm cutoff may be a bit drastic depending on what time you go to bed and wake up. Waking up at 7am, without having had water since 4pm, seems like a terrible piece of advice.
