- WheelsAtLarge 5y agoI think Tesla was counting on having self driving solved by the time competition started hitting the lower end of their market offerings. Self driving is no where near to being solved. I think they will need to focus on their luxury models until self driving is a possibility. If the chinese companies can produce a product at 1/3 then it will be impossible for Tesla to compete. Good luck to Tesla. They need it.
