I do this same loop but I’ve given up trying to learn anything quickly. When it comes to tech I don’t use for my day job I’ll do an iteration like this every 3-6 months and after 2 or 3 years I’ll have become comfortable with it. The nice thing is that while I won’t remember everything, each loop feels easier and I can go a bit deeper into the subject because the total number of brand new things I have to wrap my head around is on a downward trend.
