Tesla’s ‘Full Self-Driving’ Beta Software Used on Public Roads Lacks Safeguards
- mwint 5y agoDo we know of any FSD (not autopilot, but FSD beta) crashes so far? If not, at what point do we have to say “welp, whatever they’re doing must be working”? Frankly, I’ve been stunned at the discrepancy between erratic driving behavior clearly visible in the videos, and the total lack of real car-meets-hard-object incident reports. Did they do a terrific job picking attentive drivers? Are they bribing those who do get in accidents to shut up? Does it simply appear more dangerous than it actually is?
