Not surprising. I have type 1 diabetes (autoimmune and insulin dependent). I added a drop of coke/sugar to my blood drop as a way to get out of school, as the blood sugar result would appear very high! If I wanted it to appear low, I diluted my blood with an alcohol swab (used when testing your blood) or with a drop of water.
