For books, I prefer it to Libby and Google Books. There are tons of pdf viewers to choose from, so if you don't like an App, there are more available. I like that mine remembers the last opened doc and page. I can copy text from pdf too. Although this isn't a comparison of ebook to pdf, it's html to pdf.
