Okay, I see what you're saying. I do think not being able to do trusted transactions online with computers I control is a pretty dire and serious regression of individual freedom at this point. It's dystopian having to buy a $500 planned-to-be-obselete device which spies on me (on behalf of enemies to my freedom) every few years to do basic things in society.
