Assange's main mistake is that he underestimated how corrupt politicians are and how apathetic citizens are. I wonder if he would have started Wikileaks if he had understood human nature. What's the point of helping society if it's a steaming pile of crap? This is a lawless dog-eat-dog world. The laws only serve criminals who are able to disregard them and not get caught. These are the real beneficiaries of our system.
