Please don't do this. Just my input, nothing more, nothing less. I understand that YC is how HN supports itself, but this (as well as the YC company hiring posts) just feel like somewhat of a violation of the implicit contract between HN and its users. I would prefer that the YC posts rise or fall based on votes like (almost) everything else.
