This is interesting, because obviously the US varies a lot, but this was normal (everyone wearing a mask) for several months where I live, at the supermarket I usually go to. I live in a smaller urban area (about 1 million people) of a larger northeastern state. I imagine even more rural areas of the same state might have been different.
