I used to go to a "Pakistani/Indian" restaurant (closed now) that had a fantastic spinach based dish. I always ordered it as chicken palak, though. I'm not sure if it was any kind of standard thing because I've never had something elsewhere called "palak" or "saag" that was similar. Most places in my area have something more creamy, which this was not. My point is, no matter how good the vegetables are, if I don't have to choose between vegetables and meat, I won't.
