Show HN: Made a service that can text you as soon as a limited item is available
- marvram 5y agoHey there HN! Recently I have been wanting to buy an Xbox Series X, and every time I saw a post of it being released in the news, the event was in the past and the item sold out. Drat. So I decided to build a site that can track the main Twitter accounts that post about real-time Xbox Series X releases and send an immediate text to my phone. Hope it helps someone! P.S. - Would love to expand this to other items or services which have limited availability (e.g. GPUs, the new Nintendo OLED, and more if there is demand). So please let me know if you need something tracked and maybe I can build something to help you out. Thanks! ~Cheers Mihai
- throw03172019 5y agoVery cool. How about PS5? :)
- marvram 5y agoThank you. Should be pretty straightforward to add it, and I am looking to gauge interest before I invest time on building features nobody wants :D - That said, would you use something like this if I add PS5 functionality?
