I really like the three guiding principles for the course:
- Small Steps
- No Gaps (Nothing Left Out)
- Everything Makes Sense
(These principles are listed on GitHub and explained in the first video.)
Although this course is aimed as absolute beginners, the principles above would benefit anyone thinking of creating a programming language tutorial or course (regardless whether it's text or video).
