Title is misleading it should say : Tesla offers customers who didn't buy FSD at purchase to unlock it for $199 a month. Thats around $2400 a year so you would exceed the current price of FSD at around 4 years or so. It is better than locking it out perpetually but still feels strange car manufacturers are allowed to do this.
