What does that mean?
- quickthrowman 5y agoUh, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quebec_sovereignty_movement https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quebec_sovereignty_movement What else would it mean? Separatist movements are not very homogenous.
- dukeyukey 5y agoQuebec is primarily French-speaking and definitely see themselves as a different "nation" within Canada, apart from Anglo-Canadians. So calling Canada a homogenous Canada, while obviously discounting the large recent immigrant communities, also discounts the large Quebecois population who were there before Canada was even a thing.
