- ekianjo 5y agoYou can make the case it's also "unethical" to track everything users are doing across the whole web with Google Analytics, and then using that data to sell ads to third parties. "Being ethical" cuts both ways.

- mgraczyk 5y agoSee it's sort of a non-argument. Saying something is "unethical" is just an emotive way of saying "I disagree with this". Because if "ads are unethical" under your definition of "unethical", then I think it's totally fine for people to do "unethical" things.
