I'm guessing you don't use any websites that are owned by ad companies? That's a pretty big chunk of the internet
- MiddleEndian 5y agoPlus UBO is good for more than just blocking regular ads. Some site has an annoying banner that blocks a quarter of your screen? Useless popups appear every time you mouse over a link? Hate those useless boxes that show up when you pause an embedded youtube video? UBO (or other adblockers presumably) can block those with relative ease.
- NavinF 5y agoYep. IMO the GDPR cookie banners that cover half the screen are even worse than ads. The internet is unusable without uBO
