I went through an exercise like this on paper, but it stalled out because the provider had a clause that only "one device" is allowed per 1U. This kind of density violates that clause. I've also been disappointed in the stability of pi4s under load. Mostly I/O issues. I would only try again with PCIe I/O. No more USB for me.
