I have been holding out for protondrive for a few years myself. It’s going to take them time to build out more apps for native integration. I wonder how the performance will be with the focus so heavily on keeping data in Switzerland. In the meantime I tried out Tresorit which is end to end encrypted and which worked fine for several years but they were acquired by Swiss post whose intentions I don’t understand. I’m now working on closing Tresorit and adopting boxcryptor. Price is really nice and it can end to end encrypt files in iCloud Drive which proves to be fast for me wherever I use it around the world.
