Perhaps. But isn't google (and facebook, twitter etc) also in a bit of a no win situation? They implement these types of measure and they get accused of censorship and being "arbiter of right vs wrong". They don't and they get accused of helping spread fake news and false information. Putting aside intent, cost etc. What can / should these companies do that'll make everyone happy?
