- robotresearcher 5y agoIsn't US Civil Rights movement notable for its nonviolence overall? MLK emphasized asserting basic human rights, so that the violence of the state should be seen more clearly by contrast. The US revolutionary movement might be a more clear example where violent action was decisive.
