I have two (redundant backups) chugging along fine. One of these days I’m going to replace at least one of the HDs with an 8TB drive. I don’t think the suggestion in the article of using SSD is for me until prices come down more and capacities go way up. Never had a problem with the speed… and it just works. Have restored full and partial backups quite a few times. I hope people at least put their old units (sans hard drive or with data well wiped) on ebay or craigslist instead of trashing them.
