Reading about all the tricks marketers use to get us to think we need to buy shit we do not need, and honestly I do wonder if self control is an illusion.
- cwkoss 5y agoI wonder if there are studies looking at whether exposure to advertisements affects self control. I would imagine that certain advertisements reliably decrease self control (as that is their intent). Would be interesting to have data to back this hypothesis up though.
