Ask HN: What are the best coding bootcamps?

I have some family members and friends that are interested in getting into software development and were asking me what the best way to do so. In case the context around the individuals is helpful: one of them is in their early 20s while the other is late 30s (with family and all). Not sure if there happen to be better bootcamps depending on what stage of life you're in. Would love to hear what experiences HN users have had.
