EDIT: Seriously? I'm getting downvoted for converting an area? Am I the only person who finds a square measured in miles easier to visualize than hundreds of thousands of acres? I'm not minimizing the import of the fire. --- Per google, 200,000 acres = 312.5 square miles. Per GHCI, the square root of that is 17.7. That is, the fire covers area equivalent to a square less than 18 miles on a side.
