My explanation is I don't take any remark as a literally as you do, especially in a disingenuous fashion meant to further a political argument. Ex. Ball player says, "we're going to kill 'em tomorrow". You: "omg this athlete says he's going to murder his opponents at the game tomorrow." Me: "no he didn't lol." You: "FULL STOP. Here's the quote. He literally said it. Did he not say the word "kill 'em"???? Why are you denying that he said he was going to kill people? Clearly he has communicated his intent and endorsement of murder, we need no further context for this speech. " Me: "ok."

Admit you first falsely denied that he made that remark, and falsely accused other people of making stuff up, when it was you who was making stuff up, before you ever backtracked and claimed that you don't actually take his remark literally, and implied that nobody else does either (including naive Bitcoin investors who don't bother to do their own research, but instead trust people like him). It's pretty disingenuous and intellectually dishonest of you to make a broken metaphor about sports and murder and claiming he said different words, when he actually literally used the exact same words somebody claimed he did, that you denied, that the video proved he did, and that I quoted him saying. And how when the context was SO EMPHATICALLY STRONG in support of him meaning exactly what he said, that you had the nerve and dishonesty to accuse me of quoting him out of context, when I actually transcribed the entire context. Stop the gaslighting. Everyone can see quite clearly what you're trying to do. If you apologize for your dishonesty and gaslighting, should I take your apology literally?

  No, I'd never apologize. I will continue to reply to any of your replies until infinity. Because this is fun and productive right? We're not even debating the usefulness of Bitcoin. The semantics of speech, context and literalness are far more interesting and important to us.
