Yep, already walked that path with invoice numbers.
The only thing you can say for sure about a sequence is the next number will be greater, which is not good enough for many kinds of identifiers.
- gmfawcett 5y agoYou can't even say that for sure. Sequences can be exhausted, and can be configured to cycle (wrap around when max value is reached).
