Bit like one of the premises of NLP - people can acquire phobias after a single traumatic incident. So why can't they release them just as quickly? Did a weekend with Richard Bandler and saw an arachnophobe end up with having a tarantula walk across her hand - all in a few mins. I am not sure how much I would trust him, but he has some serious skills.
