I wonder if the 4GB and 256GB SSD limits have to do with keeping MBPs from becoming obsolete.
- loire280 15y agoWe'll find out in the teardowns how much space they're taking up, but I suspect volume is the limiting factor - RAM and flash chips are only so dense (at least at a certain price point). The RAM is already built into the motherboard to save space, and it was rumored that they would do the same with the SSD this generation.
