But not having any of the players able to stand up to TSMC is also not good for competition.
Allowing smaller market participants to consolidate to face the behemoth is not necessarily going to be perceived as anti-competitive.

- andrewclunn 5y agoGolablism killed anti-trust. If you don't aid your nation's mega corp, then they'll lose to another nation's when they receive preferential treatment. It's economic warfare and we're all fascists (in the sense of public private partnerships with regulations turning large corporations into extensions of the state for security means) now.
