I've never used Clojurescript, but I have played around with Fable (F# to JS transpiler), and from memory I had a bit of a headache with transpiling non-framework dependencies and getting it to talk to Javascript libraries (e.g. Plotly). It wouldn't surprise me if Clojurescript was the same. It's by no means impossible, but at the end of it you do wonder if the benefits of the language outweigh the hassle of getting things up and running.
