Nah, demand will continue to grow. Especially since many larger companies are starting to develop their own processors and workload specific ICs. I think that hardware/IC design is going to go through a renaissance like the software side of things went through from ~2005+ where large companies start to pick and choose the parts they need for their custom silicon. You already see many of them start to adopt more practices that you see in the software/open source side of things.
