The only tool from the article that I can speak about with any sense of "authority" (and that only as an end-user) is Blender itself, but my personal experiences with it make me very much want to explore their other software offerings now that I've read this article. Nothin' but pure gold comin' out of the Blender foundation these days. Fantastic tool for all manner of fun 3D and video production. :) Anyone interested in tryin'a actually learn how to use Blender should run a search for "Blender 3D tutorials" on YouTube and start watchin' and playin' along. Totally too much fun! :)
