So you're saying perhaps look at who is publishing to scholarly journals in number theory and see if they have a line of contact I can reach?
- ggm 5y agoYes. Find the papers in the field then contact the department and ask to speak to the duty mathematician who deals with outsiders with a theory to test. If you learn the notation of the field do a proof in some flavour of latex, or even in a proof system.
