I didn’t see this in the article forgive me if I missed it, but how does this impact the federal government use? I seem to recall there being something about airports being federal property?
- neom 5y agoGood question. Commissioner Cho who created all of this is a good friend of mine, and I asked him this exact question - as you'd expect, the state cannot preempt the federal government in homeland security issues. so, it doesn't. Fed can do whatever they want in the airport, period, city/state cannot preempt them. It's about UEA/UK/Canada///China/etc creating weird/bad/// databases at check-in/at the gate. Maybe they'll do it at other airport, maybe they'll do it on the flight, either way, Seattle isn't interested in being party to it.
