The size of the steering wheel is so fascinating to me. I suppose at this time you didn't make sharp 90 degree turns with a horse and carriage, and therefore the use case of smaller turning circles was still unknown.
- bwindels 5y agoThe mechanism is also interesting. It uses a worm drive which, I imagine, would to lock the steering angle in place, and offer precise steering (at the cost of fast steering like you say).
