My personal favorite is the Mac OS volume widget on the volume status icon drop down. It somehow changes for two finger drag on the touchpad, but ignores the scroll wheel.
Well done Apple.
- mjcohen 5y agoI had never tried that (Yosemite). The scroll wheel works just fine. On my 2014 Mac Mini, the Apple remote works fine for pausing, adjusting volume, and going into sleep mode with a long pause press.
- lightbulbjim 5y agoIt used to move with the scroll wheel. Starting with Big Sur it no longer does. No idea who thought that was a good idea.
