Works for me. Note that networking changed a ton in Big Sur because Apple doesn't allow kernel extensions anymore (or, its too user hostile for vendors to do it). The VMware networking stack switched completely to HyperVisor.framework's networking stuff, which doesn't support a bunch of "advanced" features. I only use it for a hostonly network + NAT and this works fine.
