  Improved my comment to better communicate the thought. I believe my point still stands that if an update is available when you "check for updates", you have to download a zip file, open the disk image, and perform the install manually. Contrast to something like Bitwarden, where checking for an update performs the install and restarts the app automatically. It's a minor quibble, but demonstrates a lack of polish imho.
