- stevespang 5y agoAs someone who has taken trazodone typically 75 mg. before retiring to aid in sleep for many years, on and off, I can say there are 2 side effect difficult to deal with: 1) It kills your sex drive. 2) It causes extremely dry mouth for those who are mouth breathers and suffer sleep apnea - - way beyond what CPAP humidifiers can deal with.
