Physics isn’t immune to latching onto an idea dogmatically. From what I understand, string theory relies on elements which are impossible to verify experimentally.
- jjgreen 5y agoProbably more accurate to say that all of string theory is verifiable experimentally (or falsifiable) at energy levels which are 10s of orders of magnitude larger than we can now achieve. The end result is the same though.
