Does anyone at Dropbox past or present want to weigh in on the usefulness of this framework and its application with more context? The original post falls a bit short knowing where and how this is being applied inside the org.
- nickm12 5y agoI'm a former Dropbox employee, current Amazon employee. I find these frameworks very useful, especially as I've gotten more senior and been involved in hiring, performance reviews, and promotion assessments. Without this kind of framework, it's really up to individual whims about whether someone is performing well. And yes, these frameworks aren't perfect, but the act of creating and maintaining them is healthy for the organization to understand what it values.
