Better Title: Lisbon appeal court judge rants on Facebook from their socially-distanced mansion.
> I see that my country has become a former South Africa with an Apartheid regime
This is ironic, since Portugal was always a big supporter of South Africa apartheid regime. Mostly people with monarchy flags on Facebook.
> after all, only 152 deaths have been registered by COVID, and only 4 were subject to autopsy
Classic nutter talking point. Autopsy all the people! 80-years-old with pneumonia comes into ER and dies? Better autopsy that person to make sure it's the disease that killed millons all over the world. Coming from the same people that rail against unnecessary government spending.
> After all, wasn’t this what the “Revolution” of April 25th was all about?
This is a twofer: quotes around "Revolution", to mark their fascist tendencies, and the thought-terminating cliché to end all thought-terminating cliché. This particular phrase is a meme since the revolution.
Just in case you have doubt this was boosted by rabid right-wing anti-vaxxer nutters, there's this perl:
> the anger growing in Portugal is not exclusive to the working classes (meaning here the people trying to work, not low-income citizens)
Woe betide if someone is confused with a mere low-income worker! We the elite judges are the "real" populace. "Pessoas de bem", as they say.
