Hi HN! Just wanted to explore developing a site like https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27803146 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27803146 in a single HTML file without any tooling and to improve some page speed metrics. Feel free to let me know what you think :)
- chovybizzass 5y agohaha you beat me to it. your code is lightning fast and can be deployed in 100ms. his code is like gigabytes worth of garbage tools and npm modules.
- dolmen 5y agoDid you write that qrcode function [0] yourself? The code is obfuscated and doesn't mention the source. No better than obfuscated JavaScript to get trust from HN readers. - zdgeier 5y agoThanks for taking a look! I added the license and link to the source. I assume that you were mainly looking for the source but there is definitely some trust involved with using any library. You're still downloading obfuscated Javascript by using a CDN, it's just less obvious.
