Or don’t need lab equipment for experimental work. “When I was in college, going back to live with one’s parents after graduation was unthinkable. Today, it is commonplace.” When this guy was in college it didn’t cost the equivalent of a home mortgage to go to school. State schools were still well subsidized and the tuition was cheap.
