That SNL dig was obviously an exaggeration, but I remember when USA Today was being launched and they themselves compared themselves to TV news in printed form and that being a good thing.
- ghaff 5y agoUSA Today was clearly a very graphical and not too taxing paper often for business travelers who didn't want to deal with the very serious, and at least somewhat NY/DC local, NYT and Post--or whatever the local newspaper was.
