Reason I use scripting languages over excel: I don't want to pay for excel, or a machine that will run it.
- ogogmad 5y agoThere are open-source spreadsheet programs, like LibreOffice Calc. I occasionally use it (Calc) to do things like taxes. I find it quite easy to use, personally, but YMMV.
