That's possible, my assumption was they didn't offer enough to get any senior developers on board.
- hn_throwaway_99 5y agoRelated to that, any company knows what they're doing easily knows that a competent senior developer (key word being competent) is easily worth multiple X of a junior developer with 0 experience, especially when it comes to setting up your initial project and architecture. Imagine if you were building a house and said "We can't afford to hire an architect so we'll just hire a bunch of kids right out of college because they're cheaper".
