Do you actually need any of both? I mean, just publish your app, make it free, wait a couple of months to see if it actually gets traction and IF so, then sure go for an LLC or Corp or whatever. Otherwise why all the hassle on an app you don't know yet if it's going to be successful or not?
- izolate 5y agoCan't speak for OP, but I personally don't want my personal name printed anywhere in public. The iOS app store for example lists your app under your name if you apply as an individual developer rather than a business entity. For that reason alone, I'm considering an LLC too.
